Come on out and see us at these upcoming events:- Round Rock 4th of July/Frontier Days Celebration at Old Settlers Park. Join us for fireworks, a skydiver, the Austin Symphonic Band, and watermelon! Look for our booth and take home a Velocity stadium cup.
- South River City Citizens 4th of July Celebration. We'll be marching in the parade with our banner. Join your neighbors for fun, food, entertainment and music in that great south Austin style, and visit our booth to say "Hello" while you are there!

- MexicArte Festival coming in September
We participate every year with the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions in the annual Children's Hospital fund drive. This year our employees raised over $11,000, and every penny went directly to Children's Hospital to help purchase badly needed equipment for neo-natal brain scan.
Scholarship program
Every year, our Board of Directors awards three graduating seniors a $2,000 scholarship to the college or university of their choice. An ongoing scholarship of $500 is available to previous year's winners.
Holiday charity support
Every year our employees adopt one or more charities to collect donations for at the holidays. In the past we have supported:- Blue Santa
- Brown Santa
- Capital Area Food Bank
- Austin Chamber of Commerce
- Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
- Round Rock Chamber of Commerce
- We will donate only to our sponsor groups or organizations directly connected to our sponsors.
- We will donate only where we believe we can have a meaningful impact.
- All requests for donations must be in writing
- Organizations tied directly to an organized religion or any political affiliations are not eligible to donations from Velocity Credit Union.
